A Running Start!
At 8am on Monday, October 26, Daniel filed the almost 2,500 signatures on his nominating petition at the State Board of Elections in Springfield. Thanks so much to those of you who circulated or signed his petition! Because of your hard work, Daniel will be the only Democrat on the February 2 primary ballot.
That's not the only aspect of our campaign that's off to a great start, either. Thank you to everyone who attended the recent event at Hackney's on Lake; it was a great success. Special thanks go to Rep. Jan Schakowsky for her rousing endorsement of Daniel and thought-provoking insights into the current state of our state.
